Spooky Snowmen Hot Cocoa Treats with Elf on the Shelf®

Nothing says autumn in the UK quite like a steaming mug of hot chocolate on a crisp October night. This festive Elf on the Shelf® idea lets your Scout Elf whip up Spooky Snowmen toppers that make every cup of cocoa extra magical.

It’s the perfect Halloween treat for British families, whether after trick-or-treating, during half-term, or while warming up on Bonfire Night.

Materials:

Your favorite hot cocoa
Large and medium-sized marshmallows
Orange and black icing
Toothpicks

Instructions:

First, your Scout Elf will stir up your family’s favourite hot chocolate recipe, whether made on the hob, with a kettle, or using a hot chocolate maker.
Next, they’ll gather marshmallows and decorate them with black and orange icing to give each one a spooky snowman face. Some may even get little arms for added character!
Then, they’ll carefully use toothpicks to stack the marshmallows into mini snowmen and stand them upright on a plate.
Finally, your elf will place the spooky snowmen on top of mugs of hot chocolate, ready to surprise children with a delicious Halloween-themed treat.
