Scout Elf’s Pet Rock
Materials:
- A smooth, round stone
- Paintbrushes in various sizes
- Acrylic paints
- Red felt
- White felt
- Scissors
- A glue gun (for grown-ups)
Instructions:
- Your Scout Elf will paint a stone to look like themselves. They’ll paint the face first, then the hair, followed by the facial features, letting each layer dry before painting the next.
- Next, they will measure and cut a piece of red felt, gluing it into a cone-shaped hat.
- They will cut a small strip of white felt and glue it around the bottom of the hat.
- Then they will use small dots of glue to attach the hat to the top of the painted elf’s head.
- Finally, they will bring their new friend along on all their Christmas adventures.
