Oh Me, Oh My…Oh Mummy!

It looks like your Scout Elf has been caught wrapping up some mischief! While home for a special Halloween visit, your elf decided to get creative and turn a few of your favourite soft toys into cheeky little mummies, just in time for trick-or-treat season.

This easy, mess-free idea is perfect for families looking for a quick way to bring a bit of North Pole fun to Halloween week (or the school half-term break). It’s silly, spooky-sweet, and guaranteed to make the kids giggle when they spot it in the morning!

Materials:

  • A few soft toys or stuffed animals
  • Toilet roll (or white tissue paper)
  • Glue dots or a bit of tape (optional, to hold things in place)

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf carefully wrapped strips of toilet roll around each toy, making sure they were snugly “mummified.”
  2. A dab of glue dot here and there helps keep the wrapping tidy, but nothing too sticky!
  3. Then your elf might perch proudly beside their new mummy mates, leaving behind a tiny note that says:
  4. “Boo-tiful, aren’t they?"
