Leaving a Couple of Friends Behind

A heart-warming idea for Christmas Eve, showing that while your Scout Elf must return to the North Pole, the Elf Mates can stay to keep kindness and imagination alive all year.

Instructions:

  1. Your Scout Elf will gather a couple of their Elf Mates friends to create a meaningful scene, reminding your family that although Scout Elves fly back to the North Pole after Christmas Eve, Elf Mates remain for hands-on play, creativity and everyday kindness.
  2. On the day before their departure, your Scout Elf will sit beside the Elf Mates to show how sad they are to leave, but also how happy they are to leave trusted friends behind to continue spreading goodwill and cheer in your home.
  3. They might choose a bookshelf, a festive wreath, or a strand of garland as the perfect perch to display this thoughtful farewell moment.
  4. Then, during the night, your Scout Elf will fly back to the North Pole, while the Elf Mates stay behind, ready to play, inspire and be part of your family’s story all year round.
