I’m Famished After My Long Trip

I’m finally here! But I sure could use a snack.

After a long journey from the North Pole, your Scout Elf has arrived, and they’re absolutely starving! Spotting the family’s biscuit jar, they’ve helped themselves to a cheeky midnight snack before settling in for the season.

This easy Elf idea is a classic for your elf’s arrival or a mid-season surprise, guaranteed to make everyone laugh when they find your elf caught biscuit-handed in the morning!

Materials:

  • A biscuit or cookie jar
  • A few biscuits or cookies (your elf’s choice, chocolate chip, shortbread or gingerbread work perfectly!)

Instructions:

  1. After flying all the way from Santa’s workshop, your Scout Elf will look for the perfect place to land, somewhere cosy, perhaps near the kitchen or the Christmas tree.
  2. Once they spot the biscuit jar, they’ll give in to temptation and help themselves to a well-deserved treat! Place one biscuit in your elf’s hands (or crumbs nearby) to make the scene extra believable.
  3. Pop your elf beside the jar, looking caught in the act, maybe with a note that says, “Long trip... needed a quick bite!” or “Sorry, Santa said I could have one!”
  4. Your elf might even leave behind a “cookie breakfast” for the family to enjoy, a few biscuits arranged on a plate with a note saying, “Breakfast is served!”
