Elf Pets Pumpkins
Materials:
- Pumpkins (artificial or real)
- Construction paper
- Adhesive
- Scissors
- Child-safe paint
- Optional: Red felt, Gold glitter
Instructions:
- Your Scout Elf will start by choosing three pumpkins of any size, perfect for those picked up on a half-term family outing to a local British pumpkin patch. Each pumpkin will then be painted to match one of Santa’s Elf Pets® characters: a reindeer, a Saint Bernard pup, and an arctic fox. This colourful step brings the North Pole crew right into your home, adding a festive twist to your Halloween decorations.

- Next, your elf will gather construction paper, child-safe scissors, and adhesive to cut out and attach the signature features of each Elf Pet. Think reindeer antlers, a fluffy Saint Bernard snout, or the pointed ears of the arctic fox. These simple craft touches transform ordinary pumpkins into magical companions that look as though they’ve leapt straight from Santa’s stories.
- To finish, your Scout Elf may go a step further by adding red felt collars to each pumpkin, complete with a golden charm just like the ones worn by the real Elf Pets. This extra detail makes the display feel even more authentic and will have children across the UK marvelling at the festive scene their elf has created.
