Danger: Angry Crocodiles!

Uh oh… looks like your Scout Elf has stumbled upon a swamp full of very grumpy crocodiles! Armed with courage (and a candy cane rope), they’re bravely dangling above the “water,” hoping not to get nibbled by any hungry crocs!

Materials:

  • Paper
  • Printer
  • Printable caution sign
  • A few Crocs-style shoes or foam clogs
  • Candy cane–striped string or red-and-white ribbon
  • Blue paper
  • Tape

Instructions:

  1. Cut out a wobbly pond shape from the blue paper, this will be your “water.”
  2. Arrange Crocs-style shoes on top to become the crocodiles’ open mouths.
  3. Add googly eyes and paper triangles as “teeth” for extra fun.
  4. Print and cut out the “Caution: Crocodiles!” sign and tape it to the wall.
  5. Tie a piece of candy cane–striped string and hang your Scout Elf so they appear to be swinging over the croc-infested waters.
  6. Stand back and let your family discover the daring scene when morning comes!
