Bestie Bracelets

One for me, one for you!

Materials:

  • Elastic beading cord
  • Colourful beads
  • Letter beads
  • Scissors
  • Superglue (optional, for grown-ups)

Instructions:

  1. Your elf will estimate a length of cord to fit your (or their) wrist.
  2. Without cutting the cord, they will tie an anchor knot just past this length so the beads don’t slide too far down.
  3. They will arrange their beads and then thread them on to the elastic cord.
  4. When the cord is full, they will loop it round and tie it to itself with a double knot, making a bracelet.
  5. They will trim the extra cord from both ends.
  6. They may add a dot of glue to the knot for extra strength.
  7. Finally, they will leave their bestie bracelets and some bracelet-making supplies for you to find, so you can join in the crafting fun!
